This is without a doubt one of the best collections of female singers that I've ever come across recorded from 1945 to 2001, performed by great stars like Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Dinah Washington, Peggy Lee and others. It is the perfect addition to any music collection - a lot of the songs are not the most well known for the artists featured, and so there are many songs which similar collections do not feature. Anyone starting off a collection of this type of music would be well advised to start with this double album. Believe me, you will not regret buying it!
